We are delighted to announce that the Secretary of State for International Trade, Dr. Liam Fox MP, will be speaking at our Graduation & Prizegiving Ceremony on May 23rd.
Our graduation & awards ceremony is a major highlight of the year and the perfect opportunity for our students to celebrate their hard work and academic achievements with their family and friends.
Senior figures from across the export world gather to meet and greet with our students, who are, after all, the future – and in many cases the current - stars of international trade.
The Secretary of State will no doubt have some fascinating insights to share from his experiences leading the Department for International Trade and UK Export Finance in their efforts to help more UK businesses to export.
Illustrious company at Mansion House
The event, held at Mansion House in London, is a prestigious event that attracts around 200 attendees from major stakeholders in international trade, including the Department for International Trade and UK Export Finance.
It’s a great opportunity to network with key decision makers and also our students – highly impressive individuals who have gained high level expertise and skills in trade through their qualifications with us.
Most of our students are in work whilst studying with us, which makes their achievements all the more impressive. Many of them are starting out on their career paths with large companies.
Priced at just £30, you can buy a ticket today for the opportunity to meet both the key decision makers of today and tomorrow in international trade.
Sketching a Blueprint for Global Britain
Joining Dr Fox in delivering keynote speeches will be our President, Lord Green of Hurstpierpoint, and Professor Michael Mainelli, Master of Worshipful Company of World Traders, chairman of commercial think-tank Z/Yen, and Emeritus Professor of Commerce at Gresham College in London.
Dr Fox and Lord Green are also contributing articles to the forthcoming spring edition of our members’ journal World Trade Matters. The theme for this edition is ‘Sketching a Blueprint for Global Britain’.
