Institute Director of Stakeholder Engagement, Kevin Shakespeare, had the pleasure of attending the Plymouth University graduation ceremony on 18th September.
The IOE&IT accredits the University of Plymouth International Trade Pathway of the BSc (Hons) Management Practice. A part-time, two year, online work-based learning top-up degree, the International Trade Pathway enables students to specialise in international trade and be equipped with the skills to deal with contemporary challenges in management practice.
At the ceremony Kevin was delighted to present the IOE&IT Award for Best International Trade student on the degree course, to Gift Chikola.
Kevin Shakespeare said: "Many congratulations to Gift on winning the Best International Trade Student Award. The award is well deserved and reflects Gift's commitment to hard work and lifelong learning."
Gift is now studying for the Institute's Level 5 Diploma in International Trade, learning how to manage the broader managerial aspects of International Trade and make the right decisions when problems arise.
In addition to the BSc (Hons) Management Practice, the Institute was proud to launch a NEW Foundation Degree in International Trade in collaboration with the University of Plymouth earlier this month.
Aimed at international trade professionals to provide the skills and knowledge to operate successfully in international trade, this online degree programme bridges the gap between the Level 5 diploma and University degree courses – offering significant benefits to both employees and employers.
The Foundation Degree is also available through the apprenticeship levy as part of the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship.
