The shortlists for the first set of International Trade Awards have been announced today (27 October).
Organised by the Institute of Export & International Trade (IOE&IT), sponsored by customs and borders experts Eori (UK), and judged by an independent group of judges from all sectors of the industry, the awards are a unique opportunity to celebrate the work and achievements of industry pioneers and leaders.
Commenting on the announcement of the shortlist, Marco Forgione, director general of IOE&IT, said:
“We were impressed by the standard of entries for this first set of International Trade Awards. Congratulations to all those who made it onto a shortlist and good luck to all of them.
“Everyone involved in international trade has been through a period of considerable uncertainty and turbulence in recent years, which makes it more important than ever to recognise the excellent work of the many people working hard to innovate and inspire across the global trade community.
“We’re delighted to bring people together in this way to highlight and celebrate these achievements.”
The winners will be announced at the Import Export Show on 15 November. Tickets for the show are still available here.
