The Institute of Export and International Trade and The Real Apprenticeship Company are pleased to announce a partnership that allows businesses to access professional qualifications through apprenticeship levy funding.
Under this partnership employers, for the very first time, can access apprenticeship funding to train their staff in international trade, logistics and supply chain operations.
In the current business environment never have international trade skills been more important and there is now a means available for businesses to get these vital skills.
This key partnership allows employers to access Level 3 qualifications through the International Freight Forwarding Specialist standard and Team Leader standard. Employees will learn about a range of topics that facilitate trade, from logistics operations, trade documentation, customs procedures and Incoterms.
These qualifications are suitable for freight forwarders, logistics companies, shipping companies, exporters and importers.
A spokesperson from the Real Apprenticeship Company said:

We want Institute members to have the very best people working for you whilst helping them to grow. Our aim is to provide training and apprenticeships for people with a desire to better themselves and to contribute more to the company they work for.”
The Institute of Export & International Trade’s Director of Stakeholder Engagement, Kevin Shakespeare, said:
