The IOE is looking forward to seeing members and friends at next week’s Going Global exhibition at Olympia London on the 3rd and 4th December. As Europe’s leading event for expanding your business overseas, we are delighted that our Director General Lesley Batchelor will be one of the key speakers.
As the culmination of our 80th birthday celebrations, we are inviting members to join us for drinks on 3rd December, from 16.45 onwards in Seminar Hall 17 – where Lesley will be giving her key note speech immediately beforehand.
The event is supported by Sun Mark, a multiple Queen’s Award for Enterprise winner and a key longstanding friend of the Institute, which is very generously providing the drinks.
Our full range of business guides will be available on Stand G222, which we will be sharing with Open to Export – a Government backed initiative further accelerating the exporting ambitions of SMEs.
OtE will be demonstrating its recently launched, free, and unique interactive online service, Export Action Plan, which takes visitors with exporting ambitions through five key action points before producing a report they can take to trade advisors.
Our attendance and drinks reception is the latest in a series of vibrant Institute of Export events, including 80th anniversary celebrations in Glasgow, Belfast and London, and a tour of the UK as part of the Exporting is GREAT campaign during Export Week. It was a pleasure to meet so many SMEs who are either already active in international trade or considering the export route to grow and enhance their operations and brand.
Lesley Batchelor said: “Going Global is acknowledged as the top UK exhibition for businesses that are seeking to expand internationally, export products, or set up overseas operations. Exporting is a key element of national, regional and local economic viability and we look forward to talking to SMEs about how the Institute can help them to fulfil their exporting aspirations.”
Entry to Going Global is free and you can get tickets online from the Going Global Website.
