Daniela brings over 12 years of broad experience in export controls and international trade compliance, spanning roles in the aerospace, manufacturing, and freight forwarding sectors. With a deep understanding of UK and US export regulations, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), she has successfully managed complex import/export processes and conducted rigorous compliance audits.

Her expertise extends across multiple continents, where she has navigated evolving trade restrictions and ensured the secure movement of high-tech and defence-related goods. Daniela has a proven track record in mitigating risks, implementing compliance measures and safeguarding businesses from regulatory penalties and delays.

Currently, as Academy Director at the Chartered Institute of Export and International Trade, Daniela leads the training, education, and apprenticeship teams, driving excellence in international trade education and compliance standards.
